		<description>This might of course become a problem, but it&#039;s my belief that it won&#039;t have a huge impact on Wordpress, execpt in a transition phase. 

MySQL won&#039;t disappear off the face of the earth. 

And Wordpress core will have plenty of time to move to another database, or even support multiple databases. Maybe something good will come out of this. 

It would be much worse if PHP was facing the same issue...</description>
